volleyball, school,school, school!

I had a volleyball game last Tusday against another homeschool team and we lost :-(
It was pretty bad, everyone looked like we were sleeping out there on the court!! Something in our heads just didn't click that we actually have to move to get the ball!!!! :-)
I have a Volleyball game on Friday against Franklin Academy!!!! We beat them a couple weeks ago, and played awesome! so hopefully it will be a repeat. :-)

So I have ALOT of school ork this week!! I'm reading this book for TOG called
"Gilgamesh the Hero" o my goodness, a very interesting book. lol
hopefully I'll get more than three lessons of math done this week!! :-)
I don't have a project due this week for TOG so that really nice!!!
and I already have alot of the homework done for it! YEAH!!!!

well it's' time to do school :-( then get ready for volleyball practice) HEY, did you notice that I'm not posting on Monday!!

Weekend 3. (I need to find more time to post other than Monday!)

Due to complants about not posting anough, here it goes again............

This weekend was pretty good. (I seem to always post about the weekend on Monday)

Friday~
I had TOG in then morning (again), That was pretty good. We had to make posters about "God's Majesty" I picked Flowers, Trees, Mountains, Stars and snow to put on my poster. We had to find a verse that went with each of them,write a paragraph for each one about that majesty, why you think it's a majesty, and what you like about that majesty, and have pictures of that majesty. I was up till 1am the night before (Thursday) working on the project. I hadn't started it until that afternoon, other than printing some pic earlier on in the week. Ya, I got to work on starting something before the night before it's due! )pics. coming)

I had a volleyball game in the afternoon against East Wake. My mom and I always seem to over estimate how long it takes to get there. We got there at 2:45pm for a 4pm game! We didn't need to be there untill 3:15pm, so we sat in the car waiting for someone else from the my team to show up! (30 min.)

We lost the first time we played them acouple weeks ago by two points (you have to win by two) when I was serving!! I was not very happy about that. SO THIS TIME WE!........... lost again :- We played pretty good, We play best out of three matches. (the matches going to 25 points) We lost the first, won the second, but ended up loosing the third:-( O well. I jammed my the slightly when I set a ball. I also brused my hand under my index finger and thumb on the other hand whrnI dove for a ball and fell on it(hand). Our season is now 4-3 (We're still having a winning season!!) WHOO HOO!

That night mom and I were up till 1am cleaning the house and baking for the Stampin Up party we were having on Saturday morning. We had like nothing done when we gogt back from my game so we had alot to do. But we got it all done.

Saturday~

We had our Stampin Up party from 10am-12pm. It was ALOT of fun. I had like 9 of my friends come and my mom had like 10 of her friends (mostly moms to my friends:-)
Us girls (me and my friends) made little gift boxs that are REALLY CUTE! The Moms made theses winter snowman roller cards that are just adorable!!!
We had a really fun time and ordered alot of new stuff! YEAH!!
We're trying to get back to making cards so we have to re stock on paper,ink, stamps and get all the new little toys :-) (pics. coming)

That aftrenoon we went to Mrs. Nemitz's surprise birthday party. That was alot of fun!! I had yummy food! Happy Birthady Mrs. Nemitz!!!

That night dad, mom, Jason and I went to the "Carolina Ale House" for chicken Wings. (Eric was at Appalatchin St. for their open house. The wings were REALLY good!!!! Jason just realized that he likes wings when we went the time before. So he was begging for them saying he was craving them sooo bad!!! :-) He also just realized he likes stuffing so now he's craving that!! lol

Sunday~ Went to church in the morning. Nothing exciting in the afternoon. Just hung around the hosue doing this and that.

Today~ Did school all day. The weather is so beautiful now!!! (70's)Fall is almost here!!!

I apsolutly love the Fall and winter. I would much wrather be cold than HOT!! Any one with me?!?!?

I'v got a volleyball game tomorow against a homeschool team from Orange county, It should be a good game. No Biology tomorow!!! Yeah!! My teacher is in Washington D.C. SO no class! I'm not the biggest fan of Biology. If you are that's great. But not me, I don't do that whole disectiong thing. I can't even watch someone clean a fish or a bird. I will definitly not be going hunting any time soon! Thats for sure!

another weekend

not as busy as last weekend (thank goodness!)

Friday~ I had TOG in the morning. I had a volleyball game in the afternoon against Ravenscroft and we whooped them :-) our season is now 4-2 Whoo Hoo! We play East Wake on Friday. We lost by one point to them a few weeks ago, so now it's time for revenge :-) lol

Then I went to Emily's birthday party. It was a "murder mystery" , it was alot of fun!
Everyone had a character. I was a chef, and there was a FBI Secret agent (Emily), soccer player, pianist(Ellie), super model, philosopher, veterinarian, and a Sunday school Teacher. Ellie was the murder.......no surprise there! :-) lol

Saturday~

Came home from the party. I wasn't feeling that great so I took a nap. Then I went to High school BLAST at New Life Camp (taking the place of Saturday Night Special) That was alot of fun!!

Sunday~I stayed home from church in the morning so I could sleep because I was not feeling good(soar throat, ear ache, head ache, and stuffy nose) I slept all morning then I cut and sorted coupons for my mom all afternoon. Then just hung around being lazy.

Today~ nothing much happening today, school, school, and o ya, more school. and still have a yucky cold.

This weeks assignment for TOG is make a poster board about "God's Majesty" That will actually be pretty easy and fun! (for a change) Last week we had to do a project on an Egyptian god. I did "Ra" the Sun god. It was not fun, Egyptian gods are way to confusing!!

I only had Volleyball one day this week :-( (Game - on Friday)

Well got to go take more allergy med.

weekend -can you say BUSY?!?

This was my weekend-

Friday~
I had TOG (Tapestry Of Grace) co-op in the morning(9am-2pm)
In my class (my mom is one of the teachers) we play Jeopardy, my mom made a homemade jeopardy board and the questions are all based on that weeks reading (Ancient Egypt history). I am in the lead with 1,360 points!! WHOO HOO!! lol

Also this week we each were assigned one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" do do a project on. I had the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

I put silk flowers on it to make it extra pretty! lol

All us girls with our projects, Mickie (the only boy) was on vacation so that's why there are only 6 projects :-)


Then that afternoon I had a volleyball game against Franklin Academy. And we WON!!! YEAH!!!! are record is now 2-2 pretty impressive huh? :-)

That night Sarah and I treated everyone to Red Robin for their birthdays (mom-8/28, dad was on Friday-8/31, Jason- 8/20, and Eric who's in a couple weeks- 9/26) Sarah and I decided to just cover every one's birthday in one night (except for Alex who stayed at NC State for the weekend)
It was really good!!! I had the most yummiest burger ever!! YEAH for Red Robin!

Saturday~
I babysat a for a family in our home school group who have two girls - 6&8 years old. I watched them from 7:30am-12:30pm. Other then the getting up early part it was pretty good, we watched some TV, played "Polly Pockets", they did a craft project, and we played board games. Over all we had fun, and my wallet was looking empty from the night before at Red Robin :-)

That night our family ( Eric and Alex didn't go)went to go see a movie at the $1.50 movie theater (at 9:50pm). We went and saw "Even Almighty" It was actually pretty good, very clean, very Funny! My whole family enjoyed it. We got home around 12:30am, everyone went to bed except for Sarah, Bekah (who had gone with us also), and I, who were all hungry, So Bekah got the blender out and made this dessert smoothie drink with- Frozen Strawberries, milk, yogurt, banana, and chocolate syrup, It was really, really good! I wen to bed around 1am ish

Sunday~
Went to church in the morning, It was moving up Sunday which is when everybody (kids and youth) moves up to the next Sunday school class. as in I was in the 8th grade girls and now am in the 9th grade girls. I really like my new teachers! One of them was one of my 1st grade teachers! and the other one was actually Sarah's 12th grade teacher. Well anyway in my class this past Sunday we didn't do a lesson we just did a get to know your teacher let them get to know you kind of thing. We put our hand prints (w/ paint) on the wall in our room along with our names. It looks really cool.
After church we went to Ci Ci's pizza for lunch and then I went with Sarah and her friend Jenna to go to Life Way, But when we got there we realized it was closed because it was Sunday. So we went to Target (Love that place!!)
Then I came home and took a nap! :-) I love those things! lol

And today I just hung around at home doing odds and ends.
but no nap :-(

Well I think this was long enough!
I gotta go to bed now, I have my first Biology class a 8:30am tomorrow :-( yuk!
